PETurn(PET bottles + Turn) is a product that can efficiently compress PET bottles by putting them inside a stool and rotating the body once while sitting on the product.
페턴(페트병 + 돌다)은 페트병을 의자 안에 넣고 상단에 앉은 상태에서 몸을 한번 회전시킴으로써 쉽고 재밌게 압축할 수 있는 제품입니다.
Background
The process of recycling plastic bottles can be divided into four stages. However, the actual recycling rate of plastic bottles was low because each stage needed to be systemically connected well. PETurn helps to “compress PET bottles” that each step needed.
배경
플라스틱 페트병을 재활용하는 단계는 4단계로 구분할 수 있습니다. 하지만 각 단계가 긴밀하게 연결되어 있지 않기 때문에 실질적인 재활용률은 낮았습니다. 페턴은 각 단계에서 요구되는 “페트병 압축”을 실천해 재활용률을 높일 수 있습니다.
When the user sits on the top and rotates the body, the central axis rotates at the same time. As the bevel gears and the spur gears connected to this axis turn, the neck of the PET bottle is engaged between a pair of gears with an eccentrically installed. After one rotation, the compressed PET bottle falls onto the drawer and accumulates.
사용자가 상단에 앉아 몸을 회전하면 동시에 중심축이 회전합니다. 이 축에 연결된 베벨 기어와 스퍼 기어 또한 회전하면서, 편심이 설치된 한 쌍의 기어 사이에 페트병의 목이 맞물립니다. 한 바퀴를 돌면 페트병이 압축되며 내려와 서랍으로 떨어져 모을 수 있습니다.
