Korea’s educational environment is changing rapidly, and teachers are experiencing increasing emotional and relational strain in the process. Connections with colleagues can be a major source of support, yet structural barriers often make them difficult to maintain.
한국의 교육 환경은 빠르게 변화하고 있으며, 그 과정에서 선생님들은 정서적·관계적 부담을 점점 더 크게 경험하고 있습니다. 동료 선생님과의 관계는 중요한 지지 기반이 될 수 있지만, 구조적 이유로 안정적으로 유지되기 어려운 경우도 많습니다.
This service is designed to help teachers record their daily emotions and sustain natural, low-pressure connections with fellow teachers. By doing so, it aims to provide a foundation for self-care and resilience amid a shifting educational landscape.
이 서비스는 선생님들이 하루의 감정을 기록하고, 동료 선생님과 자연스럽고 부담 없는 방식으로 관계를 이어갈 수 있도록 설계되었습니다. 이를 통해 변화하는 교육 환경 속에서도 선생님들이 스스로를 돌보고 회복할 수 있는 기반을 마련하고자 합니다.

Quality education depends on teachers’ sense of efficacy and emotional well-being, not only on educational systems.
As contemporary educational environments place increasing demands on teachers, supporting their emotional management has become essential to sustaining quality education.
교사 정서 안정의 중요성
양질의 교육은 교육 제도만으로 유지되지 않으며, 선생님들의 효능감과 정서적 안정에도 크게 의존합니다.
오늘날의 교육 환경은 선생님들에게 점점 더 많은 요구를 하고 있으며, 그에 따라 선생님들에 대한 정서적 지원은 양질의 교육을 지속하기 위한 중요한 조건이 되고 있습니다.

A Structural, Social
Wicked Problem
Teachers’ challenges are structural, shaped by interconnected institutions and social expectations.
They constitute a wicked problem that calls for social transition, not simple solutions.
Accordingly, this project focuses on supporting more effective responses, rather than eliminating discomfort itself.
구조적·사회적 복합 문제
선생님들이 겪는 어려움은 개인의 문제가 아니라, 여러 제도와 사회적 기대가 맞물려 형성된 구조적 문제입니다. 이러한 문제는 단순한 해결책으로 접근할 수 없는, 사회적 전환이 요구되는 복합적 문제(wicked problem)입니다.
이에 본 프로젝트는 불편함 자체를 제거하기보다, 그에 보다 효과적으로 대응할 수 있도록 돕는 데 초점을 둡니다.
Beyond Conventional Peer Support
Collegial relationships are vital to teachers’ resilience, yet difficult to sustain due to social and psychological barriers.
This project adopts ambient communication as a low-pressure alternative.
기존의 동료 관계를 넘어서
동료 관계는 선생님들의 회복력에 중요한 요소이지만, 사회적·심리적 장벽으로 인해 지속하기는 쉽지 않습니다.
이에 본 프로젝트는 부담을 최소화하여 관계를 유지할 수 있도록 ambient communication을 사용하고자 합니다.

조용히 돌아보고, 연결을 느끼며, 다시 나아갈 수 있는 공간.
선생님들이 하루를 차분히 시작하며, 익숙한 동료의 존재를 확인하고 그날의 기록을 남길 수 있는 서비스입니다.
Name & metaphor
Deunggyo Log takes its name from a lantern that quietly lights the way.
It reflects both guidance through light and the everyday act of heading to school, day after day.
이름 & 메타포
등교록은 어두운 길을 조용히 비추는 등불에서 출발한 이름입니다.가르침과 돌봄의 상징인 등불처럼, 선생님들의 걸음을 은근히 밝혀 주고자 합니다.
‘등교(燈敎)’는 빛에 의지해 가르친다는 뜻과 함께, 매일 학교로 향하는 일상의 움직임을 함께 담고 있습니다.
Logging Daily Emotions
In Deunggyo Log, teachers can gently record how they felt as the day unfolded. Each entry becomes a small light, marking the trace of a day that has passed.
Along with the intensity of an emotion, teachers can also note the experience or moment that shaped it—making space to reflect on the day at a slower pace.
하루의 감정을 기록하다
등교록에서는 하루가 지나가는 흐름 속에서, 그날의 감정을 조심스럽게 기록할 수 있습니다. 기록된 감정은 하나의 작은 빛이 되어, 그날을 지나온 흔적으로 남습니다.
감정의 정도뿐 아니라, 그 감정을 만들어 낸 경험이나 순간을 함께 기록할 수 있어 하루를 조금 더 천천히 돌아볼 수 있도록 돕습니다.
