)We always face diverse paths to follow in our daily lives. Despite the numerous obstacles and hardships encountered during the journey, we do not give up. We rather keep going till we find the right path. This is because there is a belief that such efforts will create a better experience and lead us to a happy ending.
Design is like a compass that brings us to moments we have never experienced before in our lives. We would like to become compasses that navigate users the better, preferable directions in the choice of products, and services. Therefore, at the end of this journey, it is our desire to open the door for a heartwarming, impressive experience for the user and the world.
At the 2022 UNIST Design Graduation Exhibition, We, the seven compasses will guide you through seven directions aiming for the “better experiences of user”. Though we might be seen as having a different way of navigation, the efforts to provide a better experience for the user which the user has never experienced before will lead us all to the beginning of a new journey.
우리는 늘 수많은 방향의 갈림길을 마주합니다. 셀 수 없이 가득한 질문 그리고 어김없는 부딪힘과 도전 속에서도 우리는 계속 나아갑니다. 이러한 노력이 보다 나은 경험을 만드리라는 믿음이 있기 때문입니다.
디자인은 우리를 이제껏 경험하지 못한 순간으로 이끌어주는 나침반과 같습니다. 더 나은 생의 순간과 마주침을 위해, 그 마주침이 모여 더 나은 삶을 만들어 내길 바라며. 우리는 끊임없이 제품, 서비스 등 다양한 모습의 나침반이 되어 방향을 제시합니다. 그 끝에는 모든 사용자와 세상에 더 나은 길을 제시하고 싶다는 변함없는 소망이 있습니다.
2022 UNIST 디자인 졸업전에서는 7명의 나침반이 보다 나은 경험이라는 하나의 방향을 위해 7가지의 길을 안내합니다. 각자가 각기 다른 모습으로 존재하지만, 여태껏 없던 더 나은 경험을 제공하고자 하는 그 노력의 결실들은 새로운 길의 시작이 될 것입니다.
