This award has been given to them in recognition of their contribution to the design community by serving as a validation of adjusting existing frameworks to help designers extract correlations between identified problems, trends, etc., and understand which items to tackle first. The design team hopes that this study will inspire other designers to find new adaptations of existing frameworks from other areas, like business and management, in their design development processes.
This award is a tremendous honor, and as design students, this kind of recognition really motivates us to continue our research and work even more diligently for research development in the design field. We are very happy and grateful to receive this award and would like to take this chance to give thanks to our mentor, Professor KwanMyung Kim.
