Integration and Innovation Design Lab

Integration and Innovation Design (IID) Lab pursues the design of innovative products and services through an integrated approach to industrial design, engineering design, and ergonomics. IID Lab develops integrated design methods and processes for the design of innovative products and product-service systems.

IID Lab has explored healthcare design and workplace safety by applying integrated approaches. As such, the lab has achieved outstanding academic research outcomes, international design awards, technology transfers, and product commercialization. IID Lab continues to explore various areas where integrated approaches of design and engineering can be applied, especially design for the elderly, smart rehabilitation, transformable design, and design entrepreneurship.

Integration and Innovation Design (IID) 랩은 산업디자인, 공학디자인 및 인간공학의 통합적 접근을 통해 혁신적인 제품-서비스 시스템의 디자인과 개발을 추구합니다. IID Lab은 통합적 접근을 통한 헬스케어 디자인 및 작업 현장의 안전에 대해 탐구해왔으며, 이를 통해 괄목할만한 학술적 연구 성과, 국제 디자인 어워드 수상, 기술이전 및 제품 상용화를 달성하였습니다.

IID 랩은 디자인 및 공학의 통합적 접근법이 적용될 수 있는 다양한 분야를 지속적으로 탐구하고 있으며, 특히 노인을 위한 디자인 (Design for Elderly), 스마트 재활 (Smart rehabilitation), 변형 가능한 디자인 (Transformable design) 및 디자인 기업가정신 (Design entrepreneurship)에 대한 연구를 집중적으로 수행하고 있습니다.
