Expressive Computing Lab

Expressive Computing Lab (EXPC) explores the potential of applying computational intelligence in design by creating AI/ML-driven interactions, digital services, and products. Our group focuses on 1) creating AI/ML-driven interactions, digital services, and products; 2) building computational tools that support the creation of AI-driven interactions, and 3) evaluating deep technical user experiences to have a better understanding of its excitement and tension from a human-computer interaction perspective with a strong design focus.

인공지능(AI)과 컴퓨터지능(CI)은 더 자연스럽고, 직관적인 사용자경험을 창조하고 그 상호작용을 디자인하는데 적극적으로 이용되고 있습니다. 우리는 특히 사람의 언어적/비언어적 데이터스트림 속에 숨겨진 표현적의 요소를 AI를 통해 인식하고 새로운 인터랙션, 디지털 서비스 및 제품을 디자인 하는데 활용합니다. 그리고 인간중심의 기계학습 관점에서 이처럼 기술이 깊숙히 관여된 사용자경험을 평가합니다. 앞으로 우리의 연구 및 디자인과정이 AI 기반 제품과 서비스의 디자인이 줄 수 있는 미래적 가치와 의미를 보다 명확하게 제시할 수 있기를 희망합니다.
